Spectacular views over the River Suir and whole city beyond are the big draw at this small, family-run hotel just outside of Waterford. While the exterior is a little uninspiring, inside it is surprisingly luxurious and spacious, lush with rich purples and velvets and four poster beds in larger rooms. Zaks restaurant has a strong local reputation and the surrounding gardens are perfect for an after-dinner stroll.
