Fodor's Expert Review Csalogány 26 Etterem
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
Perennially on the Michelin radar, Csalogány 26 is one of the few truly great restaurants on the Buda side, and it's an ideal place to dine before or after taking in the Castle District. It also offers one of the best prix-fixe lunches in the city for a fraction of the cost of dinner. For dinner, you can order à la carte or create your own tasting menu from entrées like goat cheese brûlée, suckling pig, veal liver, and Norwegian salmon. The dining room is a small, simple—some say drab—room, but the restaurant is still very popular and worth the trip to inner Buda.
