Bus

From Central Athens, buses leave every hour to Agios Konstantinos, the main port for the Sporades (except Skyros, for which ferries leave from Kimi on the island of Evia). Fares are about €15.70, and travel time is about 2½ hours. Buses from Athens to Kimi, on Evia island (the only port from which boats depart for Skyros) cost €15.30 and take 2½ hours. Schedules and fares change, so be sure to verify them with KTEL or a travel agent.

Bus service is available throughout the Sporades, although on some islands buses run more frequently than on others.
