The family-run Hotel Aegina, only 100 meters from the port, offers clean yet basic comfort for visitors who prefer to be out and about, exploring the island and lounging on one of the many beaches. Everything here is a little better than it should be; the double beds are large and cushy, the mainly wood furniture is simple but not tacky, breakfast is ample and the service is freindly and attentive. Try and reserve a room with a view of the sea.
