The public (KTEL) bus system on the Northern Aegean islands is generally reliable and runs to schedule. However, beyond port city limits the service is irregular and the times inconvenient, especially during the weekend. Drivers tend to be obliging—if your destination is en route but not listed, try asking for the drop-off anyway.
