A small American arts college, the Aegean Center for the Fine Arts hosts readings, concerts, lectures, and exhibitions in its splendidly restored neoclassical mansion. Since 1966 the center has offered courses (two three-month semesters as well as intensive summer workshops) in writing, painting, art history, photography, and classical voice training.
