Cruise Travel to Rhodes

Ships dock at the commercial port directly outside the city walls of Rhodes Town. It is a short walk from the port to all the attractions of the walled citadel. For this reason, there are few facilities in the port itself.

The bus station for services down the east coast is found by turning right outside the port and walking for 10 minutes to Platia Rimini (Rimini Square). There are several services to Lindos each day. Journey time is about 90 minutes, and ticket price is €5.50.

Taxis wait outside the port gates but can also be found at Platia Rimini. For a journey to Lindos, prices are fixed at €62 one-way. Journey time is approximately 30 minutes. You could enjoy a full day touring the island if you rent a car, though you’ll want to pick it up after or drop it off before touring Rhodes's Old Town, where most streets are pedestrian-only. Costs are €30–€80 per day for a subcompact vehicle, and the major companies can bring a car to the port for you.
