Munich

Bavaria's capital has an enviable reputation as an artistic hot spot. Details of concerts and theater performances are listed in in münchen (free) and Monatsprogramm, booklets available at most hotel reception desks, newsstands, and tourist offices. Prinz magazine lists almost everything happening in the city, as do a host of other city magazines, while the superb and official city website (www.muenchen.de) has listings. Otherwise, just keep your eye open for advertising pillars and posters.
