Air Travel

The closest major airport is in Bordeaux, 88 km (55 miles) west of Bergerac, but the Dordogne has regional airports in Bergerac itself as well as in Brive La Gaillarde. The former, Aéroport de Bergerac-Périgord-Dordogne, receives regular flights from Paris Orly, operated by Twin Jet, plus two dozen flights per week from the United Kingdom, operated by budget carriers Flybe and Ryanair. Ryanair also lands farther east at Aéroport de Brive–Vallée de la Dordogne, as does the low-cost airline HOP!, thereby providing links with Paris and select other European cities.
