Fodor's Expert Review Le Passage de Virginie
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
It may be a postage stamp–size dining room with an even smaller terrace on a miniscule street, but this typically southern bistro offers oversize pleasures in the form of fresh, well-prepared, and unpretentious cuisine served in a warm and inviting, if slightly funky, atmosphere. Dishes like tiny mussels with spicy aïoli and melting lamb shoulder with sweet onion confit enhanced by hearty regional wines—all at a reasonable price (especially the two-course €17 lunch menu)—keep devoted locals coming back. It's a rare find in the heart of the Old Town.
