Carefully safeguarding its dance-hall origins, Tango lures a friendly mixed crowd of gays, lesbians, and "open-minded" heteros. Late-night music is mostly French and American pop, but the DJ plays classic chansons (French torch songs) before midnight—so arrive early to waltz and swing.
