This elegant restaurant by the harbor was formerly the home of Captain G. W. Sundman. The building was designed by C. L. Engel, architect of the historical center of Helsinki under Czar Alexander I. The grand main restaurant, with molded ceilings and chandeliers, serves modern international cuisine. Sundmans Krog on the ground floor has a nautical theme and vaulted ceilings, as well as an excellent herring buffet.
