Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
Named after Ruskin's beloved boat, the wood-beamed tearoom at Brantwood offers an elevated mix of classical music and delicious homemade cakes. It occupies the converted coach house and has a log fire and lake views. Pop in for morning coffee, lunch (sophisticated soups such as carrot and celeriac, pastas, sandwiches, and salads), or afternoon tea with several varieties of flapjack. You can sit on the terrace in season for a great view across Coniston Water.
