Created by four friends who have returned home to the Lakes, the menu at Fellpack is designed as a celebration of Cumbria's ingredients and traditional recipes, albeit with a quirky twist. At lunchtime, opt for a hearty fellpot, such as the eight-hour braised beef chili served in a pot made by a local potter. In the evening, head upstairs and treat yourself to Spanish pork belly with butter beans or Cartmel smoked haddock with parsley and hazelnut freekah. Fellpack has a gallery of incredible landscape images shot by photographer James Appleton, and also a collection of fell running jerseys from clubs across the United Kingdom.
