Guest rooms are spacious and quiet with huge beds. The top-floor bar has sweeping views of the city; come up here for a drink as you gaze over the Chester Racecourse and the Welsh hills. There’s also a lounge bar on the ground floor. The city center is a pleasant, 10-minute stroll down winding backstreets.
