A hot spot for straight-from-the-runway affordable fashion, Topshop is destination shopping for teenagers and fashion editors alike. Clothes, shoes, and accessories are geared to the youthful end of the market, although there are also plenty of wearable items here for women who are young at heart and girlish of figure—so long as they can tolerate the loud music and busy dressing rooms. The store also features collections designed by a rotating roster of high-end designers and its own premium designer line called Topshop Unique. The amount of stock at this 90,000-square-foot flagship store is vast, but a clear layout helps make it navigable. Keep an eye out for pop-up extras like free minimakeovers, a blow-dry bar, and a hair salon, plus brow and nail bars. Topman brings the same fast-fashion approach to clothing for men. If the crowds become too much, head to one of the smaller Topshops in Knightsbridge, Marble Arch, The City, or Holborn.
