Why We Like It

Great for families, Studios@82 offers a budget stay in a sought-after location. Perfect for those who want the freedom to come and go as they choose in a base with food making facilities. While it doesn’t have the luxury or service of a hotel, some will find the very fact that it’s a standalone studio in Belgravia the big reason to book.

Fodor's Expert Review

Like its sister property B&B Belgravia, Studios@82 offers a clean, spacious alternative to hotel life in the heart of one of London’s most wealthy neighborhoods. Great for families and guests who appreciate the independence of a standalone studio apartment, the property’s rooms come with some of the amenities of a hotel with a whole lot more scope for self-sufficiency.

You Should Know With no minibars or room service, take some groceries — or at least a bottle of bubbly — for when you arrive.

Room

Rather than a mere room, the studios come with a mini kitchen complete with fridge, microwave and crockery to make eating-in a great way to build on the bargain prices. Studios vary in price depending on the size.

Tip Larger families or groups should opt for the large standalone apartment, a light and airy space with full kitchen and dining room that sleeps up to five guests.

Bathroom

Clean and simply decorated in neutral tones, the inoffensive bathrooms come with toiletries for that hotel touch.

Lobby

Check-in is at B&B Belgravia. Convenient and quick, it’s just a few doors down the road.

What's Nearby

Getting Around

Well located for some of the most premium shopping in London with Harrods, Kings Road and Sloane Square just a short walk away. The museums are a quick taxi ride into South Kensington and Buckingham Palace and Westminster are close. Victoria Station is an 8-minute walk away, where you’ll find great connections via the Victoria Line and National Rail. Bordering Chelsea and Knightsbridge, Belgravia is a great place to explore the charming streets and the winding mews, on which you’ll often find a cozy pub hiding at the end.

Restaurants

With all the money you’ll be saving on eating in at the studio apartment, you can go to town with a visit to Hunan (6-minute walk) where the Chinese tapas are famously good. For Indian cuisine, try the Amaya Grill (13-minute walk), where lamb chops are always the way to go.

Bars

You can’t visit Belgravia without a trip to the Botanist (9-minute walk) because that’s just you do in this area of town. Drink Bloody Mary on the weekend and stop for brunch. One of the aforementioned mews pubs, The Star Tavern (10-minute walk) is a historic pub with tons of charm.
