Shaftesbury Premier London Piccadilly
65–73 Shaftesbury Ave., London, W1D 6EX, England, London, EnglandWhy We Like It
Location, location, location. If being in the heart of the West End matters to you then look no further. The hotel is slick and sharp in terms of décor and the Hankies restaurant is a unique direction for a London hotel restaurant.
Fodor's Expert Review
Tucked away behind a narrow shop front on Shaftesbury Avenue, what awaits at the Piccadilly West End is a sleek, boutique hotel in one of the best locations around. Rooms are modern and masculine, the in-house Indian restaurant is an appealing diversion from the norm and there’s the huge bonus of having Theatreland right on the doorstep.
Tip Prosecco on arrival is a sweet touch to start your trip on the right foot.

Room
Dark wood, gold, beige tones and floor to ceiling padded headboards contribute to the slick, masculine look of the rooms. Views of the street are available from some rooms and a range of size options means families and non-couples can be accommodated.
You Should Know The one drawback of being right on Shaftesbury Avenue is the constant stream of noise. Light sleepers might find the location a little too central for their senses.
Bathroom
The rich brown and gold colorway continues in the bathrooms where rooms are serviced by either walk-in showers or shower baths.
Lobby
Not designed for congregating guests, the lobby is nonetheless an attractive space that introduces the hotel’s signature chic style.
Spa
Guests can choose to make use of the spa services with treatments in their room or in one of the wellness spaces at the hotel. Choose anything from a full body massage to a pre-theater makeover.
Gym
The hotel’s modern gym with state of the art cardiovascular machines provides a respite from the hectic bustle of central London—should workouts be your chosen path to serenity.
Dining
In an area heaving with restaurants and cafes, the hotel tries a different tact to attract its guests to the in-house restaurant. Hankies is an Indian street food joint that doubles as a spot for pre-show cocktails.
