Just down the hill from Hampstead Village is this stylish boutique hotel, part of a small chain, located in a converted pub and the Victorian building above it. The style is minimalist but comfortable and although the rooms are on the small side, they are clean and well laid-out; some have kitchenettes containing a fridge, microwave, stove, and Nespresso machine. Light sleepers should avoid rooms facing the main road or next to the breakfast room. Some lower-ground (aka basement) rooms do not have windows. Larger rooms seem to have higher standards of maintenance. There is no dining on-site, but several attractive cafés are just up the street.
