With its acre of lawns and gardens, this former stationmaster's home, now a bed-and-breakfast, makes a peaceful refuge from the tourist traffic of Broadway, a 10-minute walk away. Spacious rooms are cream-color and have soothing, neutral furnishings; bathrooms are immaculate. Local bacon, sausages, cheese scones, and jams make their way on to tables set with crisp white cloths at breakfast. A wood-burning stove adds warmth in winter, and gardens and an orchard provide space for relaxing in summer. Steam trains run from the neighboring station to Cheltenham. Children over 12 are welcome by prior arrangement.
