Kastrup International Airport (CPH), 10 km (6 miles) from the center of Copenhagen, is the hub of Scandinavian and international air travel in Denmark. Jutland has regional hubs in Aalborg (AAL), Århus (AAR), and Billund (BLL), which handle mainly domestic and some European traffic. SAS, the main carrier, flies to the capital from several North American cities. United Airlines and Delta offer direct flights to Copenhagen from New York in the summer. KLM, Air France, Lufthansa, Icelandair and Finnair have numerous connecting flights to Copenhagen via Amsterdam, Paris, Frankfurt, Reykjavík and Helsinki, respectively.

From New York, flights to Copenhagen take 7 hours, 40 minutes. From Chicago, they take 9 hours, 30 minutes. From Seattle and Los Angeles the flight time is about 10 hours, 55 minutes. Flight times within the country are all less than 1 hour.
