Prague neighborhoods are sometimes referred to by numbers corresponding to their postal district:

Prague 1: Staré Město (Old Town), Josefov (the Jewish Quarter), Hradčany (the Castle Area), Malá Strana (the Lesser Quarter), Northern Nové Město (New Town)

Prague 2: Southern Nové Město (New Town), Vyšehrad, Western Vinohrady

Prague 3: Eastern Vinohrady, Žižkov

Prague 5: Smíchov

Prague 7: Letná, Holešovice
