Fodor's Expert Review Lapidárium
Editor's Note: This property is currently undergoing renovations.
A fascinating display of 11th- to 19th-century sculptures rescued from torn-down buildings (or the vicissitudes of Prague's weather) is sheltered here, in this fine building in its own right. Original Charles Bridge statues can be found here, along with a towering bronze monument to Field Marshal Radetzky, a leader of the 19th-century Austrian army. Pieces of a marble fountain that once stood in Old Town Square now occupy most of one room. For horse lovers, there are several fine equestrian statues inside.
