Fodor's Expert Review Parkhotel Český Šternberk

The Parkhotel—on the opposite side of the river from the castle—doesn't have much competition; it's one of the only hotels in town. But the building and surrounding parkland are quite the lookers; they were built by the Šternberks themselves in the early 20th century. Inside, you can find simple but surprisingly snazzy rooms, many with beautiful views of the castle. Even if you're not spending the night, the restaurant makes a pleasant stop, especially its terrace.
