Museum hours vary, so it pays to check ahead. Generally, museums tend to close on the early side, around 4 or 5 pm. Most ancient monuments are open from dawn to dusk, which means earlier closing times in the winter months. Many shops close at 2 pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays and are not open at all on Sundays.
