The Adriatic may not be quite as warm as the Caribbean, but at the Havana Club—a spacious tropical-themed cocktail bar/café right on the harbor—you can sip a piña colada or a canchánchara (rum, lime, and honey). There's a great selection of more than 100 Caribbean rums and premium gins plus nonalcoholic cocktails, as well as iced tea and coffee. 8. Ožujsko Pub
This industrial-style hot spot, located between a BMW dealership and a gas station on the busiest street in Pula, offers everything from hearty breakfasts and American-style pub fare to local craft beers and hip cocktails. It's also a year-round location for enjoying live music, comedians, and DJs and watching sports on the big-screen TVs. There's a large indoor space with a central bar and an even bigger covered terrace outside.
