On the narrow cobblestone road you traverse into the Old Town—just before you pass through the city gate—this popular restaurant, whose rustic interior, complete with pots and pans on the walls, makes you feel as if you're in an Istrian farmhouse, is the best place in town for fresh seafood (no small accomplishment so far from the sea). The menu also has delectable truffle fare, from polenta (corn porridge) with black truffles and sheep's cheese, to Istrian beef with black truffles and truffle pâté.
