Split is served by Split Airport (SPU) at Kaštela, 25 km (16 miles) northwest of the city center. The island of Brač is served by Brač Airport (BWK) at Gornji Humac, 13 km (8 miles) northeast of Bol. Pleso Transport is a shuttle service that takes passengers to and from the Split Airport and the main Split bus station. A one-way ticket is 30 Kn and the trip takes around 30 minutes. The shuttle usually runs hourly between 5 am and 7:30 pm every day.

Croatia's national carrier, Croatia Airlines, operates domestic flights from Split to Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Pula, Rijeka, and Osijek. During the summer high season, Croatia Airlines also flies directly between Split and Amsterdam, Athens, Barcelona, Belgrade, Berlin, Brussels, Bucharest, Copenhagen, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Istanbul, Lisbon, London (LHR and LGW), Lyon, Milan, Munich, Oslo, Paris, Prague, Rome, Stockholm, Vienna, Warsaw, and Zurich. Also through summer, Croatia Airlines flies nonstop from the island of Brač to Zagreb. Several major international carriers also fly to Split. Low-budget operators EasyJet, Jet2, Ryanair, and Wizz Air operate there as well. Keep in mind that flights and timetables are subject to change, so it is best to double-check all booking details directly with airlines.
