Fodor's Expert Review Pizzeria Galija
Considered a pizza institution by locals, Galija also offers pasta dishes and a range of colorful salads, good draft beer and wine sold by the glass. The dining room is bustling and informal, with heavy wooden tables and benches. This is a classic Dalmatian pizza joint with a wood-fired oven. There's also a terrace for open-air dining out front. Service can be rather slow when it's busy. The owner, Željko Jerkov, is a retired Olympic gold medal–winning basketball player.
