Fodor's Expert Review Welcome Hotel

Among the many charms of this petite hotel are the incredibly friendly owners, Michel and Sophie Smeesters. The rooms are all travel-themed, and each is strikingly decorated to evoke a country that the couple have visited; the Bali and Tibet rooms are particularly lovely, with their treasures and Eastern motifs. The owners are constantly improving the place, tweaking their themes here and there; it's all rather eccentric but as comfortable as any big hotel in the city. They are also eco-conscious, with solar panels on the roof and carbon offsetting practiced regularly. The China room is intended for families, and the suites have double Jacuzzis. Airport transfers are also offered.
