Cycling is a growing part of Austrian culture, especially as it goes more green. Twenty percent of Salzburg residents cycle their commute rather than drive or use public transportation. Citybike is a nationwide bike-sharing facility that you’ll find in both small towns and big cities. The first hour is free, after a €1 deposit, second hour €2, third hour €3, and the price is capped at the fourth hour at €4. Credit card only.
