In the middle of the town's pedestrian area, an imposing facade fronts this 200-year-old haven of luxury, with attractive rooms and a highly rated restaurant serving international and local cuisine. The terrace at the front draws both guests and nonguests to enjoy a drink or a meal while watching the bustling procession of Ischgl life go by. The hotel's Posthörndl nightclub is very popular, so if you're visiting in winter and are not a late-night person, ask for a room at the back; in summer, the whole town is more peaceful and nightlife more moderate. The main lift up the mountain is 100 yards away.
