Quirkiness reigns supreme at this luxurious design hotel, from the minimalist lobby to the Zen-influenced guest rooms (although some retain Tyrolean wood paneling), and the two nightclubs. The Hummer stretch limousine, available for airport pick-ups, hints at owner Gunther Aloys's network of celebrity acquaintances—Bill Clinton and model Naomi Campbell have dropped by to join him for lunch, and Paris Hilton is a regular guest. At the far side of the Zen garden is a little chalet housing saunas, and the wellness area includes a meditation room and an indoor pool. The outdoor heated pool is a fine place to soak under the stars surrounded by snow after a day of skiing. The bar is a sophisticated meeting place, and the restaurant serves a good mix of international cuisine.
