Across from the waterfront in a historic building sits this small museum that hosts an always-changing roster of exhibits and also houses a bookstore and a gift shop. Some works are cutting-edge multimedia efforts that you might be surprised to find in such an out-of-the way location. Openings are popular events, as are the occasional jazz concerts presented in the upstairs galleries. The back courtyard is a peaceful space, where sculptures and statues are on display; free Wi-Fi is an added inducement to linger.
