This trove of fabulous original artworks, silk-screen paintings, sculptures, and handmade sea-glass jewelry, most made by local artists and artisans, is almost impossible to visit without picking up a little something to take home with you. Anna's Too, just a couple of doors down, is filled with fantastic women's wear—all cotton, comfortable, and colorful. Tucked alongside are books and pillows as well as other home decor items.

Caicos Tea Company

Long ago, islanders used to cure all ailments with local bush teas. Donna, the owner of this micro-tea manufacturer, is determined to keep that culture alive with her special blends. Try a cup of the Caicos Sunshine Tea, a blend of citrus, fever grass (lemongrass), and mint that is said to relieve just about everything. If she's around, Donna will gladly give you a tour and share the history of Turks and Caicos bush tea culture with you. On Provo, you can purchase the teas in FOTTAC and Art Provo.

This pair of locally owned and operated shops, right across from each other, is a great spot to pick up high-quality beachwear and beach accessories. They also have locally made jewelry made from sea glass, shells, and other found objects from the beach. This is where you go if you are looking for a less expensive something that’s a little different.

With a large fresh-produce section, bakery, gourmet deli, and extensive meat counter, Provo's largest supermarket has everything you're looking for. The most consistently well-stocked store on the island carries known brands from the United Kingdom and North America, as well as a good selection of other international foods, plus prepared items such as rotisserie chicken and pizza. There's also an excellent selection of wine, beers, and spirits (no alcohol sales on Sundays). Expect higher prices than back home.

Middle Caicos Co-Op

This little store sells handmade straw baskets, placemats, and floor mats made by local artisans. Their huge handwoven beach bags are perfect for toting beach towels and snorkel gear. They also sell local art and beach rope bracelets woven from fishing nets that have washed ashore. They have another location in Middle Caicos near the Conch Bar Caves.

The Market prides itself on offering high-end gourmet and organic items, including a wide selection of fresh produce, international items, gourmet coffees and teas, dry goods, wine, beer, and spirits, as well as a range of smoothies and juices. While you're there, check out their café-style deli. You can grab a quick bite to eat and then pick up your shopping while enjoying a wonderful cappuccino. This is much more than convenience for those staying in the Leeward area. It's also the perfect spot for picking up specialty items that you may not find anywhere else on the island and where you can create a lovely picnic to take out on a boat trip leaving from right in front of the Market's door.

This gallery features a wide selection of designer wall art, in addition to native crafts, jewelry, handblown glass, candles, and other gift items. Mary, the gallery's owner, has lived in TCI for more than 40 years and has developed relationships with many local artists and artisans. She features creations by the island's own Jill Segal, Alexis, and Dwight Outten. Sandra Knuyt's cigar-smoking female characters are a favorite.

Beach Monkey

Beach Monkey is located in One Season Plaza, next to The Terrace, and has items to make sure you're stylish on the beach. The store carries brands such as Lilly Pulitzer, Banana Moon, and Cubavera.

Blue Surf Shop

This is the only true surf shop on the island. Affiliated with Big Blue Unlimited, they carry gear from such companies as Quicksilver, Billabong, Rip Curl, Roxy, Element, and Dakine. They are also the only ones that carry this country's very own Konk clothing line. In addition, you will find polarized sunglasses from Oakley, Ray-Ban, SunCloud, and Von Zipper, and GoPro cameras, as they are the only licensed provider. Blue also carries an excellent selection of sandals as well as snorkel gear.

Caicos Seafoods

If you're staying somewhere with a kitchen or a grill and looking for some fresh seafood to prepare, head to Caicos Seafoods. The local processing plant has top quality fish that's been properly cleaned and ready for cooking. The owner, Velma Cox, is very knowledgable and can guide you to picking the best fish for your palette.

Caribbean Outpost

Associated with the locally owned Goldsmith shops on Providenciales, this has Grand Turk’s largest selection of jewelry, including both fine jewelry and costume pieces. You will also find a variety of clothing, cigars, and more.

Caribbean Outpost

The Outpost, in the Regent Village Plaza, is an enormous souvenir shop, connected directly to the Goldsmith duty-free jewelry shop. Head here for T-shirts, hats, beach cover-ups, beach towels and toys, sunscreen, sandals, souvenirs, and so, so much more. This is not a quick stop to get in and out.

Cuban Crafters Cigars

This company brings in Cuban tobacco and skillfully assembles a variety of cigars on Providenciales. They do this to bring the product to you at a more economical price. They also have a small selection of spirits to offer.

Driftwood Studio

You will find fine arts, textiles, photography, and crafts in this small gallery on Provo that prides themselves on bringing local art to their clientele.

FOTTAC

Flavors of the Turks and Caicos (better known as "FOTTAC") carries specialties such as local Bambarra rum and the spices and sauces that are made with it, plus rum cake, Turk's Head beer, local T-shirts, wine glasses, mugs, and locally made products.

Graceway Gourmet

The Grace Bay branch of Provo's largest supermarket is likely to have what you're looking for, including a selection of nice wines and beers. Walkable from many of the resorts, it's especially popular for its prepared foods, which can be taken back and quickly reheated in your condo's kitchen when you don't feel like cooking from scratch or heading out to eat. You will also find it's a good stop for inexpensive beach toys; there's a separate little shop for them just inside the door.

Island Creations

If you're looking for locally made art and handicrafts, pop into this tiny shop on the side of Blue Water Divers. It's also a good spot for decent espresso.

Alex, the owner and resident artist, paints turquoise scenes, often on wood that doesn't require framing. She's happy to discuss the possibility of transforming your thoughts and emotions about one special spot onto canvas as the perfect souvenir. You'll find artists working on-site—come and meet them in their natural habitats. 

Mama's Gift Shop

Mama's is the place for the usual souvenirs and trinkets. She has a great selection of T-shirts and hats, as well as shot glasses and fridge magnets. What’s really fun about shopping here is Mama herself; she makes everyone who walks through her door feel like family.

Middle Caicos Co-Op Production Studio and Sales Outlet

Developed in an effort to encourage the traditional heritage and culture of the Turks and Caicos Islands, interpretive displays of island crafts are on view. You can watch basket weaving and engage in a Q&A with one of the artisans. A variety of woven baskets and bags are on sale, as well as homemade dolls, paintings, and conch jewelry and key chains.

Netty's Grocery Store

Basic food supplies are available here, including rice and canned goods, as well as toiletries. Sometimes, Netty also bakes bread for sale, so make sure you ask if there's any fresh bread when you visit.
