Fodor's Expert Review Sailrock

South Caicos, Turks and Caicos Islands Fodor's Choice

This resort's goal is to provide “barefoot luxury” and every detail has been carefully thought through. The villas offer complete privacy (some are more than a mile away from the Great House lobby and come with a rental car) plus elements of old-world charm mixed with comfort and convenience. Open-plan living spaces—where the warmth of wood and neutrals blend to create uniquely designed furnishings—include full, modern kitchens. Bedrooms have en suites with coral stone showers, and large terraces with private pools command views of the deep blues beyond. Room packages include a greeter at Provo airport who will assist with your transfer to the included domestic flight and pickup and ground transfer once you're on the ground in South Caicos. The property owns 700 acres on the island and maximum capacity is less than 100 guests. If you are staying on Provo, consider booking a day pass to visit Sailrock. With pickup and drop-off at your Provo hotel, round-trip flights on interCaribbean, ground transfer to and from Sailrock and use of all amenities and water-sports equipment and, of course, those unequaled views, it's a $175 per person well spent.
