The venerable Villa Lodge has been welcoming guests since 1961, when a private hillside home was first transformed into a family-operated inn. Additions and renovations over the years turned the inn into a small hotel, but the homelike atmosphere and friendly, personalized service remain. Hotel rooms with king-size beds and small balconies are large and comfortably yet simply furnished. The eight Breezeville Apartments, which have full kitchens, are better for longer stays. The Patio Restaurant, which attracts local diners as well as hotel guests, serves international cuisine. Indian Bay beach is 100 yards from the hotel.
