Fodor's Expert Review Buccament Bay Resort
Buccament Bay, , off the Leeward Hwy., 5 miles (8 km) north of Kingstown, Buccament, St. Vincent, VC0274, St. Vincent and the Grenadines Fodor's Choice
This luxury villa community, by far the largest resort in St. Vincent, is on a pretty bay with a man-made white-sand beach about a half-hour drive northwest of Kingstown. The beautifully designed and elegantly furnished one-, two-, or four-bedroom villas—all modern one-story bungalows with vaulted ceilings—are privately owned but often rented to vacationers. Each has a deck with a plunge pool, stocked fridges, and coffee machines—but not full kitchens; guests dine at the resort's four restaurants. Additional suites are found in a four-story hotel building fairly close to the double infinity pool, beach, and activity area. You can also enjoy a fitness center, spa, tennis courts, dive shop, excursions desk, and a library of DVDs, video games, books, and board games. A kids' club provides supervised day care with age-appropriate activities.
