Fodor's Expert Review Cupecoy Beach
Near the Dutch-French border, this picturesque area of sandstone cliffs, white sand, and shoreline caves is a necklace of small beaches that come and go according to the whims of the sea. Even though the western part is more developed, the surf can be rough, and it's a steep walk down to the beach. Break-ins have been reported in cars, so don't leave anything at all in your vehicle. Amenities: food and drink. Best for: solitude; sunset.
