Fodor's Expert Review Shiv Sagar

The colors of India—notably yellow and green—enliven this second-floor restaurant in Philipsburg. What it lacks in decor it more than makes up for in flavor. The menu emphasizes northern Indian specialties, including marvelous tandooris and curries, but try one of the less familiar dishes such as madrasi machi (red snapper with hot spices) or saag gosht (lamb sautéed with spinach).
