Straddling the border between the Dutch and French sides, the modern Westin sits on one of the island's best beaches. An enormous pool, two restaurants, four bars, a spa, fitness center, casino, nightclub, and family-friendly activities give you plenty of choices on-site, and the helpful concierge staff will arrange anything else. The spacious rooms are slated for some refreshment in 2016, but they all have large bathrooms, flat-screen TVs, and balconies. The two-bedroom suites and apartments are especially appealing, as are condos and villas. Don't miss Sunday brunch on the patio overlooking Dawn Beach, one of the most scenic spots on the island and the place to be at sunrise.
