Tucked away on Pelican Key, Simpson Bay Resort borders both the bay and the ocean, giving you a front-row seat for island sunsets from your terrace. The spacious studios, and one- and two-bedroom suites in this time-share property are somewhat dated, even though some have been renovated with Caribbean-style furniture, fully equipped kitchens, and many with sleeper sofas, making them just right for families. Pelican Marina Residences, a modern 83-unit building completed in 2009, features flat-screen TVs, DVDs, and granite counter tops. Kids can enjoy the pool or playground while grown-ups head to the on-site spa.
