Now under the RIU brand, this family-friendly all-inclusive (including alcoholic beverages) is well located: on a great beachy cove on 18 acres in a quiet part of St. Martin. Comfortable rooms, while not huge, have been refurbished with contemporary Euro flair, cheerful accents of Caribbean colors, and fresh carpeting. One-bedroom suites overlooking the marina have sleeper sofas and enough space for a small family, and areas are accessible for strollers and wheelchairs. Among the facilities are an enormous free-form ocean-side pool with pool bar, a lovely spa, modern fitness center, three restaurants, and a snack bar. For destination events, there's even a 7,000-square-foot ballroom with a serious sound system.
