A casual bistro with lime-green gingham curtains, straw hats decorating the ceiling, and hanging plants, the Lime specializes in local dishes such as spicy jerk chicken or pork and breadfruit salad—as well as char-grilled steak and fresh-caught fish. The portions are plentiful, and the prices are reasonable, which is perhaps why you often see St. Lucians and visitors alike "liming" (an island term for hanging around and relaxing) all day and most of the night at this popular restaurant. The Upper Level, a club where the crowd gathers as night turns to morning, is upstairs.
