This Italian trattoria in the Ventana al Mar park just steps from the ocean is a great choice for alfresco dining. Prices are very reasonable by Condado standards, and the service is above par. Start with the fresh tuna crostini with brie, or the signature tomato bruschetta. There are several pastas and pizzas on the menu—the traditional margherita is well executed, with fresh mozzarella di bufala and a thin, crispy dough. For a local twist, try the Puertorriqueña, made with bolognese sauce, ripe plantains, local cheese, and fresh cilantro. There is also a large variety of veggie pastas and pizzas. The small bar has a surprisingly large selection of whiskeys and bourbons, and the $28 wine list is unbeatable in this area.
