Miramar
Argentine
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
Inspired by the chef's childhood in Argentina, the restaurant is named after his family's house number on the outskirts of Buenos Aires. The menu has a strong focus on seasonal ingredients, and there's a good chance you'll see farmers delivering fresh produce. Start with the humita, a corn-and-cheese empanada that's perfectly creamy. The potato gnocchi served with local longaniza sausage and the braised short ribs with local corn risotto are spectacular. There is homemade pasta on the menu every night and several dishes come in half portions. They have a dynamic theme daily—board games are played on Mondays, sushi night is every Tuesday, on Saturdays brunch is served, and Sundays are for parilladas! Located across the street from the Conservatory of Music, it's a fine example of one of the new restaurants that have popped up in Miramar.
