It's not on the ocean, but this hotel is only half a block away, which means you could be strolling along the sandy beach in less than five minutes. Even closer is the rooftop pool, with a view over the rooftops of Condado. The casino's energy spills into—if not overwhelms—the narrow lobby. The rest of the hotel has the same frenetic feel. Don't expect lots of ambience at this functional spot, which seems to cater mostly to business travelers. The rooms are a bit old-fashioned, with heavy draperies and fussy furnishings.
