Fodor's Expert Review Marblue Villa Suites

Run by a German couple, Axel and Andrea Wichterich, Marblue is a boutique hotel with excellent food (restaurant closed in summer). The superior suites have bedrooms with a door through to a lounge area that has no wall to spoil the stunning sea view, just a curtain to close. In the summer, the property is available for private villa rental. Axel, who does the cooking himself, whips up meals that have a great reputation across the island. In fact, the cuisine has won numerous awards over the years. Nonguests can dine if they make a reservation.
