Fodor's Expert Review Capitán Cook's
Lobster, king crab legs, and lots of fish are what's cooking at this seafood house on the sand, but the boisterous scene at this tourist hot spot was always the show, and it has quieted as prices have escalated and transportation is no longer provided. Some statesiders are still drawn to the area's freshest seafood and the still-fun atmosphere. The prix-fixe menu includes drinks and the signature dish parrillada mixta (mixed grilled seafood) with fries, fish fingers, salad, and sometimes a simple dessert, followed by shots of fiery mamajuana. Prices are noticeably cheaper if you don't order alcohol, and you can also order à la carte.
