Train Travel

Trains run three or four times a week, between Havana and Pinar del Río. Book well ahead, because trains are often booked solid, especially around peak holiday times. There is train service between Havana and Matanzas on the slow, electric Hershey train. It's more of an excursion than a reliable way to get to Matanzas.
